American Century teams up with Investopedia to offer free financial education

Kansas City-based American Century Investments teamed up with financial content website Investopedia to hit the road in a 45-foot tour bus called “The Financial Coach” to go on a financial fitness tour throughout the Midwest.

The tour will feature licensed representatives from American Century offering free consultations with people on topics such as building a retirement nest egg, saving for college, funding a down payment for a home, and other saving and investing goals. It combines Investopedia’s position as the world’s largest financial education website with American Century’s culture of prosperity with purpose due to its connection to the Stowers Institute for Medical Research, which receives more than 40 percent of the company's dividends.
