Gen. H. Norman Schwarzkopf has been a director of IAC since December 1996. He previously had served as a director of Home Shopping Network, Inc. since May 1996. Since his retirement from the military in August 1991, Gen. Schwarzkopf has been an author, a lecturer and a participant in several television specials and worked as a consultant for NBC Universal, Inc. and its predecessor companies from October 1995 through December 2005. From August 1990 to August 1991, he served as Commander-in-Chief, United States Central Command and Commander of Operations, Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Gen. Schwarzkopf had 35 years of service with the military. He is also a member of the Nature Conservancy's President's Conservation Council, co-founder of the Boggy Creek Gang, a member of the University of Richmond Board of Trustees, and serves on the boards of directors of Remington Arms Company and Association for the Cure of Cancer of the Prostate.
